What is a Google Business Profile?
A Google Business Profile allows your business to appear in Google Search
and Google Maps. It helps customers find your business information,
including your address, phone number, opening hours and website.
Before you start
Before creating your profile, make sure you have:
- A Google account
- Your official business name
- Your business address or service area
- Your business phone number
- Your website address (if available)
Create your profile
- Visit Google Business Profile and sign in with your Google account.
- Select Add your business.
- Enter your business name exactly as customers know it.
- Choose the most accurate business category.
- Add your business location or service area.
- Add your contact details and website address.
- Complete Google’s verification process.
Verify your business
Google may ask you to verify your business using methods such as video,
phone, email or postcard verification. Your profile will only appear fully
once verification has been completed.
After verification
Once your profile is active, keep your information updated. Add photos,
services, posts and respond to customer reviews regularly.
